Wednesday Whimsy: Geometric Jewellery!

I’m loving a bit of neon geometry this week. Normally I’m drawn to quite pretty, vintage inspired jewellery when i’m buying for myself, but these bright lovelies caught my eye recently. My jewellery box could do with a colour injection!

  1. Black acrylic necklace: Hand drawn and cut from acrylic by Mariko in San Fransisco. I also love her clocks, very clever.
  2. Tribal splash for the earlobes: Nicola Rowlands is from Manchester, I love the mix of quirky faces, prints and accessories in her shop.
  3. Wooden tribal necklace: Lucie works in her garden shed in Suffolk making jewellery from reclaimed wood and china. So creative.
  4. Geometric deer brooch: Another UK gal, Becky lives in Wales illustrating and sculpting original jewellery and prints. I’d buy it all now if I could.

I think this is a trend I’ve kinda missed the boat on, lol. I think it’s too harsh for me, like you say.. I’m drawn to pretty, vintage or vintage inspired pieces. I do have a fabulous Moroccan style necklace though, which brightens up my jewellery box all by itself ;)
My friend’s brand new online boutique has got stock of lots of geometric jewellery, if you’re interested :) – http://gingerpickle.co.uk

I think i’d have to buy an entirely new wardrobe to be able to carry off this stuff, but i’m up for the challenge! I’ve got slight magpie tendencies for neon at the moment.

Oo, I love your friends shop! The silver arrow necklaces are amazing. They wouldn’t be too hard to work into a 90% floral wardrobe!

Nice and beautiful Vintage Jewellery collection. I wanna include this in my fancy jewelry collection too.
