Style: Capsule Wardrobe Update

I’ve added some great new items to my capsule wardrobe over the last few months. I admit it’s quite a haul for a small wardrobe but has meant I’ve been able to replace a few straggly pairs of shoes and tops that I’ve been holding on to. They’ve been really good to layer up on colder days and peel off in the warmer weather recently. I love the versatility!

Capsule Wardrobe Additions

Oxford shirt: Muji / Striped top: Muji / Wrap scarf: Muji / Remy Dress: c/o Joules / Chelsea boots: Office / Sandals: Saltwater

The Muji pieces were Christmas presents from my mum, who also shares my obsession. The oxford shirt, I love to death. I’ll admit to being inspired a little by Johnny Lee Miller in Elementary on that one. The androgynous, baggy shape looks so cute over skinny jeans, and very chic buttoned all the way to the top.

The Joules dress is a recent addition and has already had lots of wear over the last few sunny weekends. It’s a heavier jersey knit so is super warm in these transitional days, one of a gorgeous range of spring dresses and tunics from Joules.com. It also layers over leggings and boots really well, paired with a bright cardigan. The chambray turn ups and visible red zip are a really cute contrast, too. I would say it’s a little big on my 5’2″ frame but the more I wear it, the more I prefer this – it was lovely and breezy on a hot stomp around Bristol harbour last weekend.

Les chaussures! I can’t even remember the last time I bought new shoes, so two pairs in about as many months is wild behaviour for me! I’ve parted ways with some old relics to add these cuties into the mix and it feels great to breath new life into the shoe department – Christmas money well spent!

Hi Stephanie ! No I ordered them from the saltwater website – I don’t think they’re stocked anywhere in Bristol.
