Hi! I’m Jess, the self-taught knitter behind jewellery and accessories brand, Yiskah Knits. I live in the beautiful city of Bristol and when I’m not designing and knitting for my shops I enjoy running, taking photos, going on coffee trips and exploring the delights of my city.

This blog is where I like to share the progress of my little business as well as personal projects and experiences, be it knitting, DIY projects, baking, or just things that inspire me. Whatever has caught my fancy really!

Shop Biography

Yiskah Knits is a fresh and playful range of hand-knitted items created by Bristol-based designer Jessica Biscoe. Seeking respite from long hours spent in front of the computer, Jess discovered the joy of working with her hands by learning to knit in her spare time.

Inspired by the unique character of this timeless and traditional skill, Jess set about designing a range of knitwear that would give the craft a fresh appeal through contemporary and colourful designs. As a result, Yiskah knits was born.

The collection ranges from intricate jewellery including brooches, necklaces and rings, to chic berets, beanies and chunky scarves in the winter months.
